As a young startup seeing rapid growth project quantity and size, Watershed was looking to expand the floor area of its studio. The upper levels of Watershed’s building are occupied by three levels of office space.
Each floor is zoned as three separate programmatic areas. White walls and ceilings and a terrazzo floor envelop the admin, meeting rooms, kitchenette, and director’s office.
Around the designer’s workstations, the old finishes of the interior were removed to expose the building’s concrete structure, which surrounds the space in dark tones. The utilities of the building; stairs, elevator, and washrooms are enveloped by a wooden core on the north end of the building.
